This is the best place to make alterations in your posted schedule(s). Follow the procedures outlined below.
Select the Date range where the changes are going to be made.
Select the Employees involved in the change.
Click the OK button.
The Change Calendar appears as follows...
Select the dates you wish to view. Use the drop-down list boxes or the '<<' and '>>' buttons. As you change your date selections, the days of the week will scroll from Right to Left on your screen. The Change Schedule displays seven days at a time.
Select the department in which the changes are occurring by click on the drop-down list box labeled 'Departments'. Once you have chosen the dates and departments, a list of scheduled employees will appear on the left side of the screen. You may have to scroll to see them all!
If the day you wish to change is currently blank (nothing scheduled), double click inside the gray box and the Schedule Details window will appear (above). Add the desired record type by clicking on the appropriate button. (Shift, Absentee, Holiday or Comment Only)
Enter the relevant information when the various windows come up.
Click EXIT when done.
To change an existing scheduled day, double click in the scheduled day box, the window below will appear.
Select the Shift, Department, and Position. Add any relevant comments if desired, such as the reason for the change.
If the scheduled work day is going to be changed to an Absentee or Holiday, Click the CHANGE button and select the record type.
Click OK when done.
You can use the COPY and PASTE buttons at any time to add/change shifts to other selected employees.
If you want a hard copy of the changes made, click the PRINT button. This is usually a good idea if many changes have been made.
Click the EXIT button when your changes are completed.
