(ETP and Healthcare)
This tab is used to setup the Points System The internal system within ETP that will issue points based upon an employees's lateness. It is manually configured in Setup->Time Calculation Rules->Tardiness Points Rules tab. for Tardiness The amount of time an employee is late. ETP has a Points system that can keep track of tardiness and issue points for tardiness. and Lateness.
NOTE: As the message above says, If you are going to use the Lunch Start and Lunch End Tardiness Point Rules, you must have Shift Lunch Rules setup properly in the Deductions and Additions tab!!
Click the ADD button, the 'Add/Edit Tardiness Points' window below will appear:
The Title of the above window will change according to what you have chosen. (i.e. Shift Start, Lunch Start, Lunch End, Shift End.)
In this window, enter the From value (i.e. 01mins) and the To value (i.e.15mins). Then enter the number of points the employee will receive for being late (i.e.15pnts)
You can add as many entries as you like for the points system. Generally, the amount of points issued goes up with the amount of time the employee is late. The time period and the number of points issued is entirely up to you to decide. The values below are some examples of how the system could be set up.
01 to 15 mins ... issue 15 points
16 to 30 mins... issue 30 points
31 to 45 mins... issue 45 points.
Once the values have been entered, Click OK and the new setting will be added to the Tardiness Point Rules table. Points will be issued according to the employee's Swipe-In and Swipe-Out times.
To EDIT or DELETE an existing points entry, click the appropriate button.
A Tardiness/Points system report is available under the Reports menu that will display all employee's who have accumulated Tardiness points.
