Once all of the information is entered for the employee(s), you can make changes to the information at any time by choosing the employee and clicking the EDIT button. Below is the Edit Employee window.
Select the employee(s) from the Specification Buckets.
To add a Photo of the employee, just double click on the grey box labeled "No Employee Photo Available". You will be prompted to enter the location (path) of the employee photo bitmap.
Note: ETP only supports bitmap (.bmp) files at this time for employee photos.
User-Defined fields are special fields set up by you to keep track of information that is not accounted for in ETP. Data such as an employee's locker # , License Plate Number, Height, Weight, Eye Color etc. These fields are setup in Utilities->Customize Software->User-Defined Fields tab.
Once the user-defined field is set up, you can edit it here by double clicking on the desired field and entering the your own user-defined data.
Make any address changes necessary here.
You can add or remove 'Available' positions here, as well as changing the employee's default position.
Click the button to enter additional information regarding the employee's training and rates. The following screen will appear...
Enter a date for the ' Date signed off' for the training.
Enter a date for Retraining. (If Required)
Type in any applicable notes with regards to the training or retraining the employee received.
Click OK to save or EXIT to cancel.
To Add new rates for the position, based upon the employees training, click the ADD button ...
Enter the date the rate is to take effect.
Enter the Rate.
Click OK to save or EXIT to cancel.
Assign, Remove or Edit Time Banks for a given employee. An individual employee may have many time banks. (Overtime bank, Vacation Bank, Sick Bank etc.
To Assign a Bank, select the bank from the 'Available' window and click the SELECT button.
To Remove a Bank, select the bank from the 'Selected' window and click the SELECT button.
To Edit a bank, select the bank from the 'Selected' window and click the EDIT button. A window similar to the one below will appear. You can now add time to the bank, override the Time Bank Start/End date, adjust the rate of pay for the time bank, close the bank when it has accumulated to the Maximum Value.

Enter all pertinent information about an employee's dates, such as Start Date, Rate Increase Dates, Termination Date etc.
There are also note fields to enter information about why an employee was Laid off or Terminated etc.
Enter any notes about the employee such Work habits, Job Performance, Known illnesses etc.
Select the from the available note records. The selected notes will be displayed in the window.
This is where you can keep an employee's rate history up to date, as well as specify how rates are going to be applied to an employee. To choose a rate source, click on the drop-down arrow and chose one of the five choices.
System default
ETP will take the rate that is applied to the Shift/Position for that day. This is dependant on Scheduling etc.
Higher of Three
ETP will take the higher of these three: Positional, Employee, Departmental rates.
Positional
ETP will always apply the Positional Rate. Make sure you have applied a rate to the position or the system will default to $0.00 for the rate.
Employee
ETP will always apply the Employee Rate. Make sure you have applied a rate to the Employee in their profile or the system will default to $0.00 for the rate.
Departmental
ETP will always apply the Departmental Rate. Make sure you have applied a rate to the Department or the system will default to $0.00 for the rate.
These are fields such as 'Year to Date Hours Worked' and 'Seniority Number'. To setup these fields, go to Utilities->Customize Software->User Defined Statistical Fields tab.
Edit the desired field by highlighting and clicking EDIT or just double click the field.
Enter the employee's Social Insurance Number, Marital Status, and Pay Type here.
